ADSL

ADSL is the oldest of the 4 broadband services we provide and has the lowest capacity, with a maximum speed of 8Mbps. The vast majority of business premises can receive ADSL 2+ however, there are a few locations that will continue to be served by the original ADSL. Their exchanges have to be upgraded which would allow them to utilise ADSL 2 or fibre connections.

ADSL2+

ADSL 2+ is now the most common broadband connectivity option, despite the growth of fibre connections. ADSL 2+ provides speeds of up to 24Mbps, thanks to upgraded exchanges in the telecom network across the country. Alongside these faster download speeds, ADSL 2+ also allows for upgraded upload speeds; making them more suitable for those working with large digital files.

Fibre Optic

In the last 5 years, fibre optic broadband has become the connection of choice for personal and business phone systems alike. This is thanks to the fact that fibre provides download speeds of up to 80Mbps download and 20Mbps upload, making it considerably faster than ADSL and ADSL 2+. Here at Fibre Network Provisions, we offer two fast connection options: Fibre to the Cabinet (FTTC) and Fibre to the Premises (FTTP).

The decision on which fibre option you can take will depend on what infrastructure has been installed in your area.

Leased Line

A leased line is an internet connection that provides direct connectivity on a telecom network, between multiple endpoints. Ideal for large business phone systems with several offices that need to maintain a connection. It is not shared by various third-party users in a locality, unlike broadband, and hence provides constant high connectivity and fixed bandwidth.
